Servants in Salford

Sue is very interested in the social history, especially the every day life, of people through the ages. She also collects items from the past that have been in daily use, from large items of furniture to tiny clothes pins.

Her talk on Salford Servants will give a brief history of life in service from medieval times to the early twentieth century. She'll look at homes in Salford and at some individual Salford  families and their servants.
